Hey There!

Aspen is a queer, chronically ill ceramicist and illustrator whose work explores the intersections of identity, mortality, and resilience in weird, whimsical, and wacky ways. With 8+ years experience in working with clay, Aspen teaches pottery classes at a variety of sites in the Twin Cities and suburbs and loves to cuddle their two cats in their free time. Alongside their studio work, they are a mental health practitioner and advocate, bringing a holistic awareness of healing and care into their creative process.
